DFWAC Integrated Management System Policy

The Dubai Foundation for Women and Children (DFWAC) was established in 2007 to offer immediate protection and support services for women and children in the UAE against domestic violence, child abuse and human trafficking.  It is the first licensed non -profit shelter in the UAE that runs specifically for the care of women and children. The services DFWAC offers are in complete accordance with international human rights obligations.

Dubai Foundation for women and FDI has implemented its integrated management system according to ISO 9001:2015, OHSAS  18001:2007, ISO  14001:2015, IS031000, ISO   10004,2012&ISO 10002:2014 standard. We aim to continually improve our I MS to:

  1. Comply with the applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
  2. Focus on continual improvement of DFWAC services and processes.
  3. Follow occupational health& safety procedures for employees and
  4. Ensure clients and stakeholders
  5. Reliance on customer complaints & its corrective actions as an input to improve our service.
  6. Ensure the Effectiveness of implementing our Foundation ‘s vision, mission and objectives.
  7. To train and achieve the commitment of DFWAC people to risk management and, involving suppliers, contractors, the community, competent bodies and stakeholders.
  8. Ensure that our services are performed in such a way as to protect the environment and where possible assist client to do the same.
  9. To meet and exceed our client’s expectations the first time and every time.
